Practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.<\/li>\n<li>High touch surfaces include:\n<ul>\n<li>Tables, Doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, refrigerator doors, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Clothing is a area that is often overlooked, so daily changes of clothing. Washing clothes with laundry soap does work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Many products recommend:\n<ul>\n<li>Keeping surface wet for a period of time (see product label)<\/li>\n<li>Precautions such as wearing gloves and making sure you have good ventilation during use of the product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diluted household bleach solutions may also be used <\/strong>if appropriate for the surface. Check to ensure the product is not past its expiration date. Unexpired household bleach will be effective against coronaviruses when properly diluted.<br \/>\n<strong>Follow manufacturer\u2019s instructions<\/strong> for application and proper ventilation. Never mix household bleach with ammonia or any other cleanser.<br \/>\n<strong>Leave solution<\/strong> on the surface for <strong>at least 1 minute<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>To make a bleach solution<\/strong>, mix:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"false\">\n<li>5 tablespoons (1\/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water<br \/>\nOR<\/li>\n<li>4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alcohol solutions with at least 70% alcohol.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to Clean your work-spaces to help prevent the spread of viruses. \u00a0CLEAN Clean surfaces using soap and water.
